Agile Cold Storage Breaks Ground on 2nd Cold Storage Facility Built By Ti Cold

PEARL RIVER, LOUISIANA (June 4, 2024) As summer heats up, economic development for Louisiana took a large leap forward with the groundbreaking of the newest state-of-the-art cold storage facility! Designed expertly by Ti Cold, and owned and operated by Agile Cold Storage, the site is strategically located to serve the New Orleans area at 39200 Pearl Parkway in Pearl River. This groundbreaking event showcased the site which will soon be a significant $45.9 million investment. The massive, over 120,000-square-foot facility is expected to create at minimum, 200 jobs for people locally and regionally.

The facility will be the second huge project designed by Ti Cold of Melbourne, Florida for Agile Cold Storage. The first is in Macon, Georgia, and was completed last month.

“We gave Agile our best in Macon and it obviously made an impression,” President of Ti Cold Sam Tippmann said. “We couldn’t be more excited to start this new project in Pearl River.”

The groundbreaking ceremony was well attended by local dignitaries including executive representatives from St. Tammany Corporation, GNO Inc., and the Louisiana Economic Development. Also on hand were Tammany Parish President Michael Cooper and Pearl River Mayor Joe Lee.

Ti Cold was able to give the crowd detailed information about the project, with Rob Adams, Executive Vice President; Logan Stuller, Account Manager/ Business Developer and Sam Tippmann, CEO/President of Ti Cold addressing those attending. Don Schoenl, President and CEO of Agile Cold Storage also thanked Ti Cold for their partnership on the project.

Ti Cold has estimated that the facility will be ready and running by the first quarter of 2025.
