The Tippmann principals are seasoned veterans with years of experience within the food industry and advantages of being involved in public refrigerated warehouse construction and operations. Tippmann Innovation is dedicated to the food industry and focused on customer service.
Sam provides the expertise of all facets of the company from initial customer contact to planning, design and implementation of refrigerated facilities, with over 3,000,000 square feet of refrigerated facility construction experience. Sam has been involved in the refrigeration and food industry his entire life. His first job was sweeping the floor in his father’s refrigeration equipment facility. Sam and the Tippmann family have been associated with the food-processing and refrigeration industry for more than 100 years.
A driven and enterprising top executive with proven expertise and experience in many areas including refrigerated warehouse construction, site and real estate development, engineering and supply chain logistics. Rob works closely with owners and users, logistics planners and design engineers on a daily basis to ensure clients’ needs are met throughout every project. He has experience with food manufacturers, retailers, Class 1 railroads in the US and Canada, rail aggregation facilities, and industrial development at ports and food distribution facilities. He has negotiated hundreds of real estate and construction contracts over the past 26 years.
A Purdue University trained Mechanical Engineer specializing in Thermal Sciences, Dan is the inventor of the QuickFreeze™ In-rack freezing system. Prior to his career in the refrigeration industry, Dan served two years in the US Army. After his military service, Dan began his career as an Engineering Service Manager at WaterFurnace Corp in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He then joined his father’s manufacturing company (Rite Coil) serving as Sr. Engineer and Production Manager. Rite Coil was sold to the Frick Company in 1999. He later joined the Tippmann Group and served as VP of Operations and VP of Engineering and Refrigeration. Dan also served as President and GM of Bond Cold Storage in Chillicothe, MO.
Josh began his commercial construction experience as a general laborer on a refrigerated distribution center project, which sparked his interest in building refrigerated facilities. That real world experience, combined with Purdue Construction Management education has allowed Josh to lead Design-Build construction of distribution, manufacturing, food processing and cold storage facilities throughout the US and Canada. Josh’s extensive on-site experience, along with his educational training, give him the tools to handle all facets of a construction project. Josh works extensively with clients, from pre-construction, site due diligence and infrastructure planning, through conceptual layout, budget and schedule development, construction management, to project completion and facility turnover.
